For Daniel, it’s the variety of the role that keeps him passionate after all these years. “What I love most about this job is the travel — getting to see so much of the world,” he says. “Every engine room brings a new problem to solve, and I get to do that alongside engineers and crews from all over the globe. Meeting new people in every port, knowing you’ve helped keep their fleet moving — that never gets old.“
