Same Day Fitting

Last Saturday July 14 the service team attended the vessel "Wilson Valencia" @ Liverpool and work started promptly at 0800 hours to remove the turbocharger type KBB HPR 6000 model with Spec. 5588745 & 34600 RPM fitted to an MAK 9M25 2970 kW 750RPM engine with reported high exhaust temperatures. The unit was refitted the same day after a workshop overhaul before sailing close to midnight, the vessel superintendent reports to be very happy with the service levels and outcome with important cleaning taking place. Following this service the air cooler was also removed for cleaning to help lower the temperatures
